Habitat
Since they are cold-blooded, the hot, humid environment of the Amazon
rainforest suits green anacondas perfectly. Found in northern South America, green anacondas are very well adapted to living in the River Basin, and spend most of their time there, as they are fast and agile whilst swimming yet slow and cumbersome on land. When they do venture on land however, these reptiles stick to the undergrowth, no up in the canopy like most snakes.
